- I highly recommend purchasing Travel Medical Insurance from Medex. Depending on age, the cost is around $4-$6 per day. Kelly NØVD & his XYL were visiting the Ham-Let in December 2005 and his wife, Riva, had a medical problem. They contacted Medex and I was very impressed by their service and concern for her welfare. They even followed up with a call here the next day to see how she was. They were also aware of the doctor who treated her. For $4-$6 per day, you can't beat this!!
